Cynthia Sherrell - Dare to Dream & Cynthia Sherrell Enterprises LLC

Are you from Saint Louis? if not, where (and why did you come to Saint Louis)?

Yes I am from St. Louis!  I grew up in Normandy and Jennings MO

Which High School did you attend, (if you attended high school in MO)? (If not from Saint Louis, you can opt out of this question)

I attended Jennings Senior High and graduated in 1994

Which area is the best? Why? (County (North, South, West), City, St. Charles, Chesterfield, East Saint Louis, etc...)

I personally like the south side of St. Louis because of its diversity, it's like the melting pot of St. Louis. The parks are gorgeous, my favorites are Tower Grove and Carondelet park. The south side offers a lot of convenience, stores are every where and within walking distance.   I love the ambiance, there is so much variety on the south side, one street may reflect Victorian style homes and on the very next street it may look like Bronx New York.  The people are a bit friendlier too and there doesn't appear to be a lot of racial divide.

Tell me something about yourself that you would like to share.

Three things about me: I enjoy artistic creation whether by painting, coloring, or writing. My prophetic/psychic gift gives me the ability to see into situations, words & actions on a deeper level.  I believe God is extremely creative and speaks to us every day in ways that will catch and keep our attention, it could be numbers, animals, movie messages, dreams and/or visions.

What is/are the name(s) of your business(es) and describe it/them (please provide a website and email address if possible). Why did you start it/them?

Dare to Dream is a spiritual life coaching practice that offers clients an opportunity to stop feeling powerless and start moving powerfully forward in their life.  (www.cynthiasnewell.com) Coaching saved my life, back in 2009, I had experienced a lot of emotional changes, my grandmother passed early in the year and just 10 months later my first cousin was killed in a hit and run.  This same year I resigned from a leadership position to pursue "my life" full-time.  I had written a book, but really didn't have a sure direction for my life, I started feeling depressed, so I got coaching.

I started Dare to Dream in 2012 to teach individuals who desire to change their life by creating better circumstances for themselves but are unsure how.  At an early age people have come to me for insight about getting from where they are to where they desired to be. I recall a time in high school a young lady I didn't know well had reached out to me for spiritual guidance; she was pregnant, young and afraid.  I prayed for her, accompanied her to the clinic, offered consolation and gave her tools to ease the conversation with her parents.  I've always had a way about myself that was inviting & trusting. My life lessons have given me leverage to be transparent, multi-dimensional and non-judgmental when coaching clients.

Recently I started Cynthia Sherrell Enterprises LLC, an inspirational speaking business because it is my heart's intention to encourage and empower through inspirational teaching, spiritual enlightenment and guided meditation. My main two talks as of now are, "The Day I Found Myself" which is named after my upcoming book due to release Feb. 2017. The talk  focuses on uncovering the areas in our life we feel lost and reconnecting with our authentic self, the part of us God created us to be.  The book is a collection of essays about defining moments in my life that peeled back layers of unworthiness, fear and contradiction and drew me closer to Spirit and the person I was created to be. The second talk, "Coping with Change & Challenges",offers listeners 12 things to keep them grounded when experiencing change and challenge both individually and collectively.
Everyday we see more how our world is constantly changing and the challenges that arise, having a solid foundation and strong connection to Spirit helps us to steer clear of insanity.  (Website coming soon)

What three words would describe your business(es)? (If you own more than one business please give three words to describe each business).

Three words that best describe Dare to Dream are connected, effective and valuable.
Three words that best describe Cynthia Sherrell Enterprises LLC are powerful, creative and possible.
