I
have lived in Saint Louis for approximately 20 years, but I was born
in New York City and raised in Chicago and Central Illinois, before
moving to Saint Louis to attend college. I loved it here so I stayed!
Which
High School did you attend, (if you attended high school in MO)? (If
not from Saint Louis, you can opt out of this question)
Sorry, I cannot answer the infamous Saint Louis question "What High School did you go to". *Smile*
Which area is the best? Why? (County(North, South, West), City, St. Charles, Chesterfield, East Saint Louis, etc...)
I
think all the areas of Saint Louis have something great to offer, but I
really believe that the City portrays the "melting pot" that we live
in. There is so much history here to be shared, and tourists love to
come here! I am thrilled that our business can be a part of Saint Louis
City life!
Tell me something about yourself that you would like to share.
My
10 year old daughter is my world! She has brought a different light to
my life that I never knew existed. My mother is my rock and my
foundation, without her I am nothing. My partner, Charles, is the even
balance I need in my crazy life, I love him. I love them all dearly,
with all my heart....I have overcome many hurdles in my life and I find
peace in knowing that I made it! I worked hard to complete a Master's
Degree in Healthcare Administration and I am currently finishing up my
MBA in May of this year, both from Webster University! I am proud of
the woman, entrepreneur, partner, and most importantly, the mother that I
have become.....
What
is/are the name(s) of your business(es) and describe it/them (please
provide a website and email address if possible). Why did you start
it/them?
The name of our salon is Razor's Edge
Hair Studio, located at 4507 South Kingshighway Blvd, 63109. We pride
ourselves in the services that we provide, such as color, hair cutting,
natural hair care, braids, twists, protective styles, and children's
hair care. We are proud to be able to cater to all cultures and types of
hair. We love getting the opportunity to take care of your little
ones!! Being a business owner is definitely challenging at times, both
from a business perspective and a personal one, but absolutely worth
every bit of it. Find us on Facebook and Instagram! We are open 6 days
a week and accept walk-ins and will make an appointment to fit your
needs.

Professional,
Welcoming, and Talented! The members of my "Glam Squad" are extremely
gifted and provide a professional atmosphere you won't find anywhere
else!
Having
the freedom to run your own business, make decisions and develop a brand
that no one else has is not only challenging, but extremely
fulfilling...
