Which area is the best? Why? (County (North, South, West), City, St. Charles, Chesterfield, East Saint Louis, etc...)
University City is the BEST! We're a small group of people that take our portion of town seriously. With alumni's remaining in the district to send their sprouts to the same schools they attending speaks for itself. We're also known for the annual alumni picnic that brings out thousands and the weekend summer fest held at Heman Park.
Tell me something about yourself that you would like to share.
I am a wife and mother before anything. I've been married seven years together sixteen years. I have a fifteen year old daughter, 12 year old son, 8 year old nephew, and my business partner/manager my one year old daughter Puff. She has came through an shaken things up and been a blessing to so many. So if you ever stop by the showroom nine times out of ten she's on the schedule pacing the floor in 4 inch heels that she walks perfectly in. She has been sent home early a time or two for insubordination and she even quit once. I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and in any situation I focus on the good and positive things.
What is/are the name(s) of your business(es) and describe it/them (please provide a website and email address if possible). Why did you start it/them?
Chameleon FaB boutique the FaB is for Fashion and Beauty. Owning a boutique is something I desired at a young age. In September 2009 Labor Day to be exact I decided to go into business for myself. Believe it or not my long desired plan is not what I opted to do. After seeing where I spent the bulk of my money. I decided I wanted to open a beauty supply store. I had my name picked out and everything. My husband called me one evening saying "someone stole your name" a Hollywood Beauty had opened. That was the name I had on my research papers for the name of my store. I did research for over a year and got deterred from things I came across about blacks owning beauty supplies.
So that's when I went to my first desire. Chameleon Haus of Fashion is what I originally registered my business as. I started out selling shoes because that is my absolute favorite fashion item. I also did custom embellished shoes and tutus. I eventually ventured off into apparel and accessories. I even created my own private label C H A M E L E O N nail polish, matte lipsticks, and lip gloss. I ran my business online from 2010-2012. In 2012 I opened storefront location in Downtown, St. Louis. I've recently moved to a new location and my grand opening is planned for 3/18/17 10am-8pm 8955 Natural Bridge Rd, St. Louis, MO 63121. At this time Chameleon FaB boutique currently carries women apparel, shoes, accessories. I plan to bring back our men line Chameleon Gents and launch Donz Dope Tees by Spring 2017

In the midst of running the boutique. I believe in several streams of income and doing what you love. In 2011 I became an independent travel agent at Hollywood's Travel then Chameleon Excursions. Although I no longer do work as travel agent. I have plans to ultimately open a beauty supply, launch my own shoe collection, and join a networking company.
