First I am a women. Second I am a African women. Thirdly I am a revolutionary for The mental, economic and physical Liberation of People of color in America and all over the world. Everything except are falls in the back round of that.
Describe your business(es) and (please provide a website and email address if possible). why you started it/them.
Art is my passion and also a way to interpret the beauty and pain the of my peoples plight while being black/African in and Europeans framework. It is important for me to use my skills to humanize the image of blackness that we have little control over to help shape who we are to each other and to the world. I articulate this by using Photography and Paintings. It is what wakes me up and what put me to bed. It is what inspires me to paint and photograph our beauty that is on so many levels.
I'm about creating or renewing a new energy for the new generation of blackness that is willing to go around, over or though anything or anyone that gets in the path of our greatness that we need to share with the world and each other in particular. As a people that is constantly oppressed, we should begin to read , write and to create things from a black perspective to keep our minds balanced and sharp or to keep some sanity about ourselves. We are tricked so easily by the noise around us that we can no longer hear our souls in which always gives us truth and courage to stay on track mentality and spiritually. I'm am Aroused By Art.
